Abstract: Wuhan Center of China Geological Survey, a geological data management organization in South Central China, undertakes the social service work of geological survey. In recent years, our Center has continuously innovated and explored the service thoughts and measures like geological data integration, thematic data extraction, database construction, data-publishing system development and so on. On these bases, we innovated and explored the mode of geological data integration, development and publishing, and provided various retrieval methods which changed the service mode and greatly improved the service ability. In addition, our Center carried out highly effective social service for geological data through various ways like Web publishing, window reception, electronic reading room and so on.
