Abstract: This paper presented the characteristic of measured stratigraphic section of the 1st member of Jingxing Formation in Tuguan village, Gonglang town, Nanjian county, western Yunnan province, and discussed the lithostratigraphy, stratigraphic contact relations and lithofacies features. In addition, we proposed that the 1st member of Jingxing Formation which are composed of grayish white sandstone and purplish red mudstone were major in fluvial deposition.
