Abstract: The “China Mining Congress & Explo 2014” themed as “sustainable development through innovation”, was successfully held at the end of October, 2014. During the congress, domestic and overseas technical experts and associations from all areas of the mining sector deeply discussed the hottest topics of current global economic situation and mining industry trends, and the hottest topics include mineral exploration and technology innovation in 2014. With the booming of economic and social demand for mineral resources, the global mineral exploratory situation had changed and exploratory investment had grown, high technologies had been widely used as major technical method, and the states and communities have paid more attention to mineral exploration. Mineral exploration enters a new period of diversified cooperation, technical promotion and prosperous development.
