Abstract:
Qimantag metal ore concentration area of Qinghai Province has rich mineral resources and broad metallogenic prospect and it is the most important iron polymetallic metallogenic prospective area in East Kunlun metallogenic belt. In order to promote the sustainable development and exploitation of mineral resources, the authors established the evaluation index system of mineral resource development layout from three aspects of mineral resources conditions, technical and economic conditions, and environmental impact. The system was constructed by means of evaluation index selection, index weight and evaluation criteria determination, and evaluation index calculation. Then, the mineral resource development layout in Qimantag metal ore concentration area was evaluated. The results of evaluation analysis show that the average value of the comprehensive evaluation of the eleven development units is 7.0, and the overall development advantages of the ore concentration area are general. There are two development units with a comprehensive evaluation value above 8.0 belonging to the key priority deployment and development areas, namely Xirihamu polymetallic mining area and Hutouya-Yingqinggou polymetallic mining area. Besides, seven development units are considered as alternative areas and two development units, with comprehensive evaluation value lower than 6.0, are not suitable for development at present.
